Welcome to Renew NI, a new independent, pro-Union research and policy organisation dedicated to making a positive case for Northern Ireland’s future.

We are a team of young professionals who have come together with a shared belief that Northern Ireland has enormous potential, and that its future should be shaped by ambition, evidence and fresh thinking.

We believe the debate about Northern Ireland’s future needs to move beyond uncertainty. Rather than simply defending the status quo, we want to explore how Northern Ireland can become a more prosperous, confident and successful place to live, work and do business.

Through research, policy papers, public events and commentary, Renew NI will examine the issues that matter most to people, from growing our economy and improving public services to strengthening devolution and making Northern Ireland work better for everyone.

Our first major publication, The Case for Northern Ireland, will be launched at Queen’s University Belfast on Monday 16th November 2026. It will set out our vision for Northern Ireland’s future and mark the beginning of what we hope will be a much wider conversation.

Renew NI is entirely volunteer-led, and we’re always looking for people who share our ambition to contribute their ideas, expertise and time.

We hope you’ll follow our work, challenge our thinking and join us in helping to shape Northern Ireland’s future.

Welcome to Renew NI. Let’s make the case for a better Northern Ireland.
